entrepreneurship

The road to success for an entrepreneur is a challenging one. Numerous obstacles stand between a bright idea and a profitable business, some of which may be especially challenging for women.

Access to funding can be difficult for women. Women have few mentors to guide them or role models to inspire them. Demands placed on them as caregivers may limit their availability to drive a venture forward. Fear of failure may impede risk-taking. Even women proven successful may be held back by excess modesty or self-doubt, often referred to as the imposter syndrome.

At the ella fund we believe that girls and women with a promising entrepreneurial project should have access to all the resources they need to transform it into reality.
